CHIA CHEN BIO ENTERPRISE locates in Jiali district of Tainan for almost two decades; Jiali and Xigang districts of Tainan are the largest sesame farmlands in Taiwan. Due to this proximity, knowledge and appreciation to the sesame products are profound. During the annual harvest season of sesame, farmers strike the sesame down in the field, screen them out from dirt content with sieves.While await for the next process, they wish more people can learn about all the benefits of it, that is the simple wish of the farmers.

CHIA CHEN BIO ENTERPRISE signed contract with local sesame farmer in Jiali and Xigang districts, strict quality assurance is requested. Through mutual trust and understanding under long term cooperation with farmers, we requested improvement on cultivation method, and make ingredient safety inspections after harvest and prior to further processes, to ensure that products from every production is the safest choice for the consumers.

Biotechnology for nutritious value added

Sesame is a food with very high nutritional values, despite being very small; its nutritional content is incredible. On top of rich sesame oil, it also contains excellent protein, abundant vitamin B and minerals, and the unique sesamin (Lignans), the five sources which constructed the saying “small sesame, large nutrition”. After profound study in sesame, we deeply felt unfortunate for sesame to be underestimated by the world. Thus, with researching for various help and advice, we are able to use biotechnology to extract the nutritious content in sesame, and apply to various products of Mr. Sesame series, to upgrade its rich content to another level.

1999：CHIA CHEN BIO ENTERPRISE CO., LTD is established, mainly to produce and sell food ingredients and spices.
2011：Business expansion, upgraded the production line to clean room production to ensure every product to be manufactured in contamination-free environment. Thus providing product with the best quality.
2012：Certified with HACCP and ISO22000 Food safety management accreditation.
2013：Certified with HALAL certification.
2014：Under influence of food safety issues, decided to return to the origin of the problems. The trademark Mr. Sesame was founded for development of application of sesame related products.
2015：Cooperate with Chia Nan University of Pharmacy & Science; take part of the “Innovative Incentive-based Policies for Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation” project on topic: “Development of Vegetation Multifunctional Compounded Enzyme Product”.
2015：Stationed in Center of Innovative Incubator of Chia Nan University of Pharmacy & Science.
2015：Cooperate with Chia Nan University of Pharmacy & Science to study “Production of Blood Pressure Regulation Supplementary Product of Lactobacillus Fermented Sesame”, which is part of the project “Creation of Valuable Intellectual Properties” of the Local Industry Academia Research Cooperation Consulting Program. The program is founded by the Industrial Development Bureau of Ministry of Economic Affairs.
